The goals of the ASU Alumni Association are to keep alumni in touch with each other, aid the university in recruiting and to support the university in carrying out its mission of education and service. The Alumni Association provides scholarships through the national organization, local chapters, independent alumni and corporate sponsors. Many chapters provide SAT/ACT preparation seminars and campus visitation programs for prospective students. An annual alumni conference provides leadership training seminars and a forum for goal setting and long-range planning.
For over a century, Albany State has represented the way upward for thousands of graduates. In turn, ASU alumni have traditionally turned to help those who came after them realize their dreams.
From the very beginning, Albany State has been able to depend on alumni for support of the university and its mission.
